Destiny R. Ozolins

Bio

Destiny Ozolins has been with Lam Law Firm since August of 2012 and she works primarily with our Bankruptcy cases. As our paralegal, she assists with all aspects of the firm’s bankruptcy law practice, including both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings. She coordinates the preparation of the petitions as well as any accompanying motions, orders, or other legal documents required for the consumer bankruptcy process. She also is responsible for providing ongoing communication, not only with our clients, but also creditors, trustees and court clerks. Destiny offers our clients almost a decade of knowledge of the procedures needed to help them file for financial relief.Hailing originally from Michigan, she moved with her family to the Grand Strand area before she could even walk. She is the youngest of three children, all of which have deep roots in Myrtle Beach and in fact, most of her extended family still lives in South Carolina. After graduating from high school with honors, she attended the College of Charleston for her undergraduate degree. Later she spent a short time in the Army at Fort Leonardwood, Missouri and then moved back to Charleston. There she worked at her alma mater in the Summer Sessions Office for almost 5 years. Destiny enjoyed working with students from other colleges and universities to register them for courses.In her time off, Destiny enjoys travel and reading. She also loves to spend time with her husband, who also works in the legal industry, and their daughter.
